Circa 1940s: Third Reich, hard-back membership book with embossed Swatiska emblem in cog-wheel for "Die Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labour Front), that belonged to Gertrud Heid of Munich, born 24 May 1910. The DAF was a labour organisation that replaced traditional trade unions and was associated with the NSDAP Nazi party in Germany. Contains revenue stamps of values RM1.40 to RM3.40 from October 1936 until September 1944, with manuscript entries thereafter 31 March 1945. Fine and interesting item, accompanied by partially used clothing ration card issued 1942 to Elisabeth Hartl in Munich.
